The Delhi Legislative Assembly is organizing a Symposium on the theme “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and His Valuable Contributions towards Integration of India”.
The symposium, to be held on October 30, is being organised to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India and to pay homage to his unparalleled contributions in fostering a unified and resilient nation.

Giving the details of the upcoming event, Speaker Vijender Gupta said that Governor of Bihar Arif Mohammad Khan will be the Chief Guest and Key Speaker of the event. Delhi Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra, will grace the occasion as the Guest of Honour, and Niranjanaben Kalarthi, Administrator, Swaraj Ashram, Bardoli (Gujarat), will be the Special Guest.
Gupta further informed that an exhibition will also be organised in the Assembly premises. The exhibition will feature rare archival photographs, dedicated coins, stamps, books and historical documents that trace the illustrious journey of Sardar Patel, a leader who transformed resistance into nationhood and vision into enduring institutions. The exhibits aim to provide valuable insights into his monumental role in uniting princely states and shaping the democratic foundations of modern India.
